40 Nature Guides and 15 Safari Vehicles Registered in Haldwani Forest Division

40 Nature guides/ Naturalist will get employment opportunities in Eco-Tourism Zones of Haldwani Forest Division, Haldwani. After imparting training to these youths, Haldwani Forest Division has registered these youths of nearby villages. These guides will provide information to the tourists about rich Bio-Diversity, Plant Species, Wildlife and Bird species of Haldwani Forest Division. Eco-Toursim activities are going on in three Zones-namely Surya Devi Zone with entry points at Dolpokhara, Nandhaur Zone with entry at Chorgalia Gate and Kakrali-Senanpani Zone with entry gate at Kakrali/ Tanakpur. 15 Safari vehicles have been registered to carryout Safari in these Zones, which will provide employment opportunities to the Drivers and vehicle owners. Booking of the safari and bird watching trails can be done online in advance at https://nandhaurwildlife.uk.gov.in. This initiative will boost the local economy and Eco Tourism of the State.
